I didn't think I would do it, but now I have. I have successfully transitioned over 300 forum topics and over 20,000 replies from those topics from the old IC to our new forum system.
The topics have all been added to a new staff-only forum board where the staff will sort through the topics and move them to their respective forum boards if they think they should complete the transition. So over the next few days (including today) you should be able to see some old forum topics appearing.
Anyway, this is great news because now I can more quickly bring back comments from our old content in the near future. Not only that, but this also paves the way for bringing back our Stock Photos section, so stay tuned!
P.S. I'm leaving on a trip for the next several days. Yes, I'm totally dumping the work of sorting through the forum topics on the staff while I leave for a trip. ;) Anyway, I'm not guaranteeing any updates while I'm gone, but I will be bringing my laptop with me, so we'll see.
