Content Submissions Open!

Yes, we're still alive! You can now submit your own color schemes and stock photos, just like the good old days. Well, it's actually a little better than those days for several reasons. Keep reading to see what else we've been working on.

First, if you can find the links to the submit pages in the main menu under Resources. For example, Resources > Color Schemes > Submit a Color Scheme.

Promoted (?)

Some of you may have already seen this, but the staff can also now apply a special "Promoted" status to Stock Photos and Color Schemes (and, eventually, to other content you submit). So what does having your content Promoted mean? It's like a special badge showing that what you submitted is one of the best of its type on IceCaves. Everytime you receive the status on one of your submissions, you receive a whopping 7 rank points. This is the only way to get rank points for submitted content, so can you rise to the challenge?

Also, soon Promoted content will be the only content viewable on a resource's homepage. We are still going through all the old content and selecting which content should be "Promoted," so this aspect is still not incorporated yet. But hey, if you aren't in the staff and think something that you didn't post should be Promoted, then simply post in the comments to catch the attention of a staff member, and they might agree with you.

Lastly, this should start opening up to some periodic updates on new content. And rest assured, I'll be working on some other projects the staff and I have been working on since last month, so expect that soon *cough* a week or two.
