Snog.com. Anyone heard of it? It's basically a website which you sign up to join and then you post a photo of yourself and other members decide whether they'd like to snog, marry or avoid you. It's basically an exercise in shallowness and a waste of time. It was based of a TV show called "Snog, Marry, Avoid" which was admittedly quite entertaining on the basest of levels.
I signed up because I wanted to research the website for a blog I want to write which will include a lot of social analysis and whatnot and hilarity of course. And for part of that blog I wanted to include other people's opinions so I'm asking for yours...pretty please? You don't have to sign up, just visit the site, have a poke around and give me whatever you think about the whole idea. www.snog.com

I've seen the TV show a few times, and never seen anything I've hated more. I just get so angry at it: the idiotic, blind people on it, the arrogant presenter, just the whole format of the show. Ugh.
As for the site, well, I don't exactly hate it with such a burning passion. And I suppose it gives somewhere for attention-seekers to go, rather than changing their profile picture on facebook every three minutes(although the amount of status updates I've seen about it did get a bit infuriating at one point...I'm easily annoyed). And for others it could just be a laugh, I suppose...just not my cup of tea, really.
(When I saw the title of this topic I did worry for a second that this would be some kind of new forum game in which we all judge each other)

Really, I think the website's a bit more stupid the TV show because it really encourages actual people to be rude and shallow about things rather than just soak up stupidity off the television. Thank you for your opinion!
I've done a few "experiments" on the site because I'm just a bit of a social scientist. Lol, jokes. And don't worry, I'd NEVER think up such a terrifying game.
