Here's a couple extremely popular WordPress plugins that are so core to my use of WP, that I think they should be a WP standard feature. If you are new to WordPress and have recently installed it, here are the plugins that you should add right off the bat. I'm writing this article becuase when I first switched to WordPress, I had no idea how powerful the plugins were in augmenting WP. And the great thing is, they are so simple to install. It really is easy to get addicted to just trying them out.

Google Chrome: The Browser for Web-Developers

If you are an aspiring web-developer, which you probably are, then you obviously aren't using any verions of Internet Explorer. However, I think (and I would do anyway) that you should switch to Google Chrome if you haven't yet. Despite speed, functionality, design and all those generic arguments for the average person browsing the Internet, there are arguments specifically to convince the web-developer to make the change.

But the problem with these widgets is that they are essentially inflexible boxes that can take up more room than needed.
